In the past few years there has been an increase in certified trappers in Alberta. With more people trapping there is a higher risk that you and your hunting dog may encounter traps or snares in the field.
Beginning in 2020 the Alberta Conservation Association (ACA) altered its survey methods by reaching out to the hunting dog community and asking for their assistance with gathering data through the Upland Gamebird Survey advertised in our last issue of this newsletter.
