Over 500 people jammed into the Palomino Room at Stampede Park on May 10th to raise a glass and hand to support upland habitat in southern Alberta.

The auction started with the Lucky 13 and the selling of the KAILANI Coolers, one of which had a winning ticket in it for a Rizinni 28 gauge donated by The Calgary Shooting Centre. This was quickly followed by the auctioning of the Chairman’s Private Luxury Salmon Adventure, quickly followed by another 20 live auction items.  Congratulations to all of the winners and thank you to all of our sponsors for their donations.

The silent auction had more than 100 items with 10 premium items. And there were a number of raffles to entice buyers. Again, thank you to all who donated items to make this dinner a success!

Special thanks to our guest speaker Danielle Smith, Premier of Alberta, for her well-received address. In addition we extend our gratitude to Honorary Chair, Darcy Hulston of Canoe Financial for his commitment and support.

A big hats off to President Tim Pickering, all of our sponsors and donors, and the great volunteers who did an excellent job in running the dinner.
