What is NAVHDA?
The North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association (NAVHDA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering, improving, promoting, and protecting the versatile hunting dog in North America. Established in 1969, NAVHDA provides a comprehensive training and testing program that helps dog owners develop their hunting dogs to their fullest potential. NAVHDA recognizes 31 different breeds of versatile hunting dogs, each capable of hunting and retrieving game on land and water and tracking wounded game.
Wildrose NAVHDA, based in the heart of Alberta, is known for its vibrant community of dog enthusiasts and upland hunters. Focusing on training versatile hunting dogs, Wildrose NAVHDA offers comprehensive training programs that cater to both novice and experienced handlers. The chapter trains a variety of versatile hunting dog breeds, each with their own unique hunting capabilities.
